Measure the total voltage of the battery during trickle charge (or float charge). If the reading of the charging device is abnormal (incorrect), be sure to investigate the reason for the deviation from the specified voltage range.

When the total voltage is lower than the specified voltage, the battery may lose capacity due to insufficient charging. When the total voltage is higher than the specified voltage, the battery may be damaged due to overcharge and lose capacity, and "thermal runaway" may occur.

Check if there are any abnormalities in the battery. If damages such as cracks, deformation, electrolyte leakage, etc. are found on the chassis and cover, the battery must be replaced. In addition, if you find that the battery is dirty due to dust and dust, clean the battery. If the battery with an irregular appearance continues to be used, it may cause capacity drop, leakage, smoke or fire.
